Orange Slice Cookies (gluten free, dairy free)

My dad and my son have declared these the best cookies ever. (Never mind that almost every time I create a new cookie recipe they deem those the best ever!). I will say, that these are the most requested cookies in my house right now

Prime Day Deals for your Paleo Kitchen

Prime Day Deals for your Paleo Kitchen

With Prime Day starting tomorrow, I thought this would be a good time to re-share some of my very favorite Amazon kitchen purchases. These are all products I own and love and use all the time!

As you’ve heard me say many times, if you want to take charge of your health, you are going to have to take charge of what you eat and drink and that will mean preparing most of your meals at home. You will be frustrated if you don’t have the equipment you need.

If you have been eyeing any of these higher priced items, Prime day might be a good time to take the plunge. Then reach out to me if you need to figure out how to use your new gadget!

Happy Shopping!

Instant Pot

Do we really need to talk about how awesome the instant pot is? Even if I only used it to make bone broth and hard-boiled eggs, it would be worth it. But the chicken wings, ribs, BBQ pork, soups, and so much more make it a no-brainer. If you don’t have one yet, now is the time! If you need help with recipes or figuring out how to use your new IP, visit my Youtube channel for lots and lots and lots of help.

Instant Pot Air Fryer

Either I or my kids use this almost every single day. It works so well and cleans up super easily. I especially love it in the summertime because it doesn’t heat up my kitchen like my big oven does.

Cuisinart 15 cup Food Processor

Not an everyday-used item, but when I need it, it comes in very handy. Some people use their food processor in place of a mixer.

Instant Read Thermometer

If you want your meat and homemade bread cooked properly, a thermometer is essential.

Enameled Iron Dutch Oven

Perfect for soups and stews!

Food Scale

Some baking simply requires precision and the way to achieve that is with a food scale.

Mini Cuisinart Chopper

Probably my most used kitchen gadget ever. I have the stainless steel one, which is not on Prime special. I’d get the white one for the price. In fact, I may go ahead and get another because I use mine that often. I think these would also make wonderful housewarming gifts, gifts for the new grad, a wedding gift, etc.

Hot Plate / Counter Top Burner

If you don’t have a large stove, but do cook for a crowd or a large family, even occasionally, having these extra burners to pull out when needed is really a life saver.

There are so, so many more items I have purchased for my kitchen from Amazon through the years, but these items here are what I consider more of a splurge (but worth every penny) and definitely worth picking up while on sale.

Let me know in the comments what your favorite Amazon kitchen items are.

Oven Fried Squash (grain free, dairy free, paleo)

Oven Fried Squash (grain free, dairy free, paleo)

Coming from farm country, I grew up eating lots of good, fresh fruits and vegetables. I confess that they were not always prepared in the healthiest way, but we ate lots of them nonetheless. One of my favorite summer treats was fried squash. Mom would
